Anya Volz hails from Vermont. Now, she is an New York City based comedian. The comedian has earned the acclaim of males across America for her witty comedy that is not preachy. She is a contributing writer as well as producer of material in the form of Riot Fest, The Hard Times, and Macaulay culkin Bunny Ears. Her work was highlighted in BuzzFeed as well as Vulture and also at several national comedy festival including The New York Comedy Festival. She hosts the Best Mistakes Podcast, which involves making mistakes alongside Brooklyn comedy legend Nika Lombazzo. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish as well as English. The Taylor-Joy family was a clan of six children. Four of them are siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family was within Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria part of London. Taylor Joy says that moving was a very difficult experience. She was not willing to learn English and hoped she could relocate back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the moved from Northlands. After that, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet and performed in school's dramas. She dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order to pursue an acting career. Taylor-Joy has always known her goal was to become an actor. This was achieved when Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, offered Taylor-Joy a modelling job.
